Mark and his team were reliable, friendly and the work was completed to an exceptional standard. They tidied up after themselves each night. We were kept informed about progress and the order of works at each stage. Where there were issues, e.g. With an unexpected broken step/gap at the bottom of the stairs, Mark worked out a solution, talked it through with us to ensure we were happy and fixed it. He also went out of his way to repair a door frame which was not on the original quote – for no extra charge. We would definitely recommend and are very likely to use A1 for further work.

Glass Staircase refurb

A1 Carpentry did an excellent job of rejuvenating my staircase with glass balustrade which has opened up the room. My job had to be delayed slightly due to injury however A1 Carpentry kept me informed at all times. The top panel of glass has a slightly larger gap than expected but still looks fab. Excellent value - I had been quoted 4 times the amount by a company on TV without even coming to see what it was I needed doing. Would recommend it and use them again!
